VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Using some of the insights and information you have gained from Lesson 1, you can now start to develop and build a vision of the way you want your future to look, regardless of whether that’s staying in your relationship or not.
See this as an opportunity to design a future that excites you, one with more balance, and that increases your sense of fulfilment. A well-defined vision will serve as a roadmap, guiding you towards the future you want.
A clear vision provides a sense of purpose. It answers the fundamental question of “why” you are pursuing certain goals. When you have a purpose-driven vision, you are more likely to stay committed and motivated, even in the face of challenges. This sense of purpose becomes a driving force, shaping your decisions and actions.
Developing your Vision
When you are developing your vision, think about all of the different areas of your life, not only your relationship, and what you want to achieve in each.
Use the worksheet to help you think about different areas of your life.
There are lots of ways to create your vision; this worksheet can be your vision. You can write it out on a piece of paper, draw it, or create a vision board with cut outs from a magazine—whatever works for you!
Creating your vision for the future should be a fun exercise! It is also essential for providing you with purpose, and motivation, ensuring that you are moving forward in the right direction.
